Walking through the South End of the temple site provides an intriguing experience as it is dedicated to monks’ accommodation. On the other hand, the North End showcases two stunning temple buildings that are definitely worth exploring. One temple is aligned in a North-South direction, while the other is oriented East-West. Inside these temples, I was truly amazed by the intricate murals that adorn every inch of the walls. They are genuine works of art and add to the spiritual ambiance of the place.
While the temple grounds lack natural shade or seating areas, they still offer a serene environment for visitors to explore and admire the temple’s architecture. Currently, there is some construction work taking place, but it doesn’t affect the two main buildings’ splendor and significance.
In addition to its architectural and artistic treasures. Wat Suthat Thepwararam provides an opportunity to witness the spiritual devotion of the people. Observing individuals engaged in prayer and experiencing the profound spiritual space. All within the temple is truly a wonderful and enlightening experience.
After exploring the temple. I had the pleasure of indulging in some delectable culinary delights. We opted for the duck dumplings with curry. Likewise which were bursting with flavor, and the lamb shank with curry, which was succulent and tender. The combination of aromatic spices and the rich curry sauce made for a truly satisfying meal.
It’s worth noting that Wat Suthat Thepwararam is located close to the MRT Sam Yot Station, making it easily accessible for both locals and tourists. Additionally, its proximity to Wat Saket provides an opportunity for visitors to explore multiple iconic temples in the vicinity, creating a comprehensive and enriching cultural experience.
