Raintree Pub
This establishment is truly a hidden gem, an absolute delight. The culinary offerings are impressive, and the drinks are nothing short of delicious. What sets it apart is the presence of a band performing a diverse range of music, from traditional Thai melodies to contemporary Thai and Western tunes.
Tucked away in a tranquil alley, this place boasts captivating decor adorned with intriguing knick-knacks, creating an atmosphere that evokes nostalgia and fond memories. The live Thai music ensemble adds a touch of bygone eras, a sentiment that struck a chord with me. This is closest to the Phaya Thai BTS Station.
As for the food, we opted for the beef soup and the spicy frogs, both of which exceeded our expectations. The frogs, in particular, were exceptionally spicy – a true treat for those who appreciate an authentic, fiery Thai experience. However, if you’re not a fan of intensely spicy cuisine, it’s advisable to inform the staff beforehand. All in all, this has become one of my favorite spots in Bangkok, a delightful surprise that exceeded my expectations in every way.
Lastly also see the MRT Samyan Station area for entertainment as well as the Twelve Pub & Restaurant.
Likewise see also the Sapphire Bar & Bistro in the area as well as Hotel Tranz and The Roof Top Bar.
