In this modern hotel, just 10 minutes away from Chaengwattana Government Centre, the staff is incredibly friendly and provides excellent service. You’ll find a Shell gas station, a convenience store, and a 7-Eleven nearby. Right across the street on Soi Chaengwattana 14, there are plenty of food and snack shops to explore.
Narra Hotel
During my one-night stay booked through Agoda for 650 baht, I chose a clean room on the second floor. Accessible by steps from the lobby, my room had a small TV, a comfy bed, and a good air conditioner. The odd-numbered rooms face a busy street with construction noise, while the even-numbered rooms at the back are peaceful. This hotel is close to the BTS Lak Si Station and not that far from the BTS Khan Keha Station as well.
The bathroom was decent in size and provided essentials like towels, soap, body gel, and shampoo. However, there was no conditioner, so make sure to bring your own if needed. In the shower, there were occasional surges in water pressure and temperature, so be cautious, especially if you have children. Despite this, I found the overall experience satisfactory. Likewise also see the Cacha Bed Heritage Hotel as well as the Centre Point Sukhumvit.
The hotel’s location was ideal for my local business needs, being close to the government area. There’s also a parking area available, making it convenient for travelers. Although it’s not a luxurious 5-star hotel, considering the price I paid, I rate the hotel’s performance as 5 stars. The friendly staff, clean room, adequate air conditioning, comfortable bed, and proximity to government offices made my stay enjoyable. I would stay here again, just being mindful of the shower’s occasional temperature changes.
To sum up, this hotel offers good value for the price, especially for short stays like mine. Lastly also see the area around the BTS Sala Daeng Station and BTS Royal Thai Air Force Museum.
