Additionally, Soi Charansanitwong 33 will take you to Bang Khun Si Market and Soi Charan 35. MRT Tha Phra Station

Most people would undoubtedly wish for an extension of the train line to Siriraj Hospital, especially to avoid the notoriously horrendous traffic, particularly during weekday mornings. Luckily, this MRT Tha Phra Station is conveniently located near Siriraj Hospital. If you need to reach the hospital, you can opt for a taxi or minibus. However, it’s important to note that the station is not connected to the overpass.

Therefore, when returning from the hospital to catch the train, you must either cross the overpass or traverse the road before reaching the train station again. Furthermore, after disembarking the train, the surrounding area can feel quite desolate, especially when descending, resembling an abandoned commercial building, which might be slightly unnerving.

Now let’s talk about the remarkable temple, Wat Tri Thotsathep Worawihan. It is a beautiful temple adorned with amazing mural arts. I had the privilege of being there when the artists were working on the restorations. Which made it a truly memorable experience.
