The Mansion Sarasinee is located in the Chatuchak area of Bangkok. The hotel has an excellent location close to many restaurants, business and the sightseeing areas of Bangkok. This Bangkok hotel is less than 500 meters from the CBD and only 45 minutes to the airport. It is also located close to the BTS Saphan Khwai Station and the MRT Kampaengphet Station which is close to the well known Chatuchak Market in Bangkok.

Note that this is a 189 room hotel and it does have an elevator for guests to use. The rooms all come with an in-room safe and television. If you book via Agoda bring with the printable invoice not the digital one as it makes checkin very fast and easy. Overall is a good hotel with nothing really fancy but at US$24 per night the location and basic amenities are good for the price and real value for money. On another note there is a short-cut to the BTS station which you will be able to see on their map at the hotel.

During our recent visit to Bangkok, we once again chose to stay at Mansion Sarasinee, a place we’ve frequented several times. Our decision to review it again stems from the consistent quality of service and one minor concern. What stands out is their exceptional service when it comes to holding luggage. Even after an 18-month gap since our last stay, they securely kept our suitcase, which we left behind. During our journey, we entrusted multiple suitcases with them, allowing us to travel unburdened. Their only request was to avoid storing anything valuable, understandably. Furthermore, we had a special order that needed to be delivered while we were away, and they flawlessly managed it, waiting for us upon our return.
On one occasion, I had to be hospitalized during our reservation period, and we arrived late on the checkout day. Despite the reservation technically expiring, they kindly offered us a room at no extra cost for a few hours, allowing us to gather our belongings before heading to the airport. This gesture of generosity left a lasting impression.
However, the only drawback preventing this hotel from earning a five-star rating is its sluggish WiFi. Nevertheless, if the internet is not a primary concern for you, Mansion Sarasinee’s advantages in terms of location, accommodating staff (for the most part), flexibility, and genuine customer service more than compensate for this lone drawback. We look forward to returning on our next trip to Bangkok.
