The Khaosan Palace Hotel is another mid-range hotel in Khaosan Road in Bangkok. The hotel is located in the most active tourist street in Bangkok being Khaosan Road. The location of the hotel offers real convenience.
Khaosan Palace Hotel
Its located close to all major tourist hot spots and attractions in the area. Such sites as Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), Wat Phra Kaew the Thai National Museum, The Grand Palace and also the Floating Market and The Temple of Reclining Buddha, Saranrom Palace and China Town.
The rooms deserve acclaim for their consistent cleanliness and meticulous upkeep. Furthermore, the inclusion of a secure safe box in the room ensures the safety of your valuables. The comprehensive experience, encompassing the rooms, service, and staff, ranks among the finest. Notably, the hotel’s prime location caters to those seeking a vibrant party scene, with Indian restaurants in close proximity. One minor inconvenience is the necessity to catch a car from the main road after 6 pm, as vehicular access is restricted within the hotel’s vicinity. Despite this, if you opt for this establishment, you’re in for an exceptional stay.
In addition the 7th-floor terrace houses an inviting swimming pool that doubles as a bar area. It’s worth mentioning that while the setup is excellent, the presence of staff seemed scarce during my visit. Of course, the terrace offers prime opportunities for capturing memorable photographs. The pool itself garners praise for its enjoyable dimensions, with a depth of just 1.2 meters. Lastly one slight drawback is its early closure time.
Location
Likewise the MRT Hua Lamphong Station is the easiest public transportation but 3 kilometers away from the hotel. The rooms at the hotel are neatly prepared for guest comfort and convenience. Each room in the hotel comes fitted with a standard air conditioner, desk with in room safe, LCD television, mini bar, satellite/cable TV, and complimentary wireless internet access. Khaosan Palace Hotel offers luxury accommodations with wallet-friendly prices.
Other hotels in the area are the Rikka Inn and also the Center Point Hotel just a few meters away. Note that this hotel does not have any views of Bangkok even though its rooftop pool gives you plenty of views of the street. The Democracy Monument is not far from the hotel and with a room rate of about 900THB per night it is not bad
Likewise the hotel’s offerings extend beyond its accommodations. With a laid-back restaurant, a casual coffee shop, and a 24-hour convenience store, guests’ needs are well catered to. Ascending to the rooftop, you’ll discover an outdoor pool and a bar, a splendid setting to unwind, complete with sun-loungers for relaxation. Although the hotel proffers a breakfast buffet for a nominal fee. Lastly it’s noteworthy that there is no elevator service. However, overall, the hotel experience was delightful.
Lastly see also the Kaya Heritage Hotel and the The Club.
