I had a surprisingly comfortable stay at this hotel. Despite its bustling and cramped neighborhood, the convenience it offered was impressive. I had booked the room for an early morning airport link, and it was just a 4-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient. The first train departed at 5:30 am, so I made it to the counter at 5:20 am.

The lobby and hangout space were cozy, featuring an eating and kitchen area along with complimentary breakfast. They also had a great water filter providing both hot and cold water.

The room, though narrow, felt spacious enough. I ended up sleeping on the couch, which was sufficiently large. There was ample counter space and a small desk. The yellow, soft lighting created a relaxing ambiance after a busy day in Bangkok, but it wasn’t ideal for activities like reading or packing.

Location

The lady at the reception was super friendly and helpful, and we communicated well. However, other staff members faced some difficulty, even though I used a translator. The shared toilets were spacious and clean. I can’t speak for the hostel’s shared rooms, but I certainly enjoyed my single room with a balcony. Please note that there are no elevators and a narrow stairway. See laos the BTS Map as well as the BTS network in Bangkok.

Nearby, you’ll find the famous shopping district just a short walk away, offering plenty of restaurants, cafes, and local food stalls. The BTS station is conveniently close, making it easy to get around. In terms of safety, I felt perfectly secure in the area. The hostel itself was not creepy or shady, and all the guests were well-behaved and clean. Access was restricted with key cards, and there was a security guard for the neighboring building.

The area was quite walkable, with the BTS Phaya Thai station just a 3-5 minute walk away. The Pratunam shopping district, along with malls and night markets, was reachable in 20-35 minutes on foot. You could find plenty of cafes in any direction outside the hostel. Next door on the main road, there was a hotel and cafe serving excellent lattes, fresh pies, and croissants. It was actually very good! I didn’t try the massage places, but there were a few open until very late.

There is also the Adelphi Suites Hotel as well as the Bangkok Hub Hostel and Saphaipae Hostel.
