During my recent trip to Thailand, I had the pleasure of staying at the ibis Bangkok IMPACT, and I must say, the experience was exceptional. Right from the beginning, the hotel’s proximity to the airport proved to be incredibly convenient, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free transit through Bangkok.

Upon my arrival, the front desk manager not only acknowledged my Accor Diamond membership but also personally escorted me to my room, a thoughtful gesture that made me feel genuinely valued and well taken care of. This level of personalized attention truly sets a high standard for hospitality. This is a distance from the BTS Khan Keha Station as well as the BTS Talatmai Don Muang.
The staff, despite not all being fluent in English, exuded warmth and friendliness, always wearing a smile and readily offering assistance. One of the standout features of the hotel was their policy of allowing guests to store their luggage after checkout, enabling us to explore the city without any hindrance. They had a dedicated room for safe luggage storage, adding to the convenience of our stay. Note that there is also an Ibis Bangkok Riverside in Central Bangkok.
What made my experience even more delightful was the attention to detail displayed by the hotel. I had booked the room just days before a TWICE concert I was attending. Likewise, upon our arrival, the lobby was adorned with TWICE-themed decorations, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The staff member I had communicated with via email, was exceptionally patient and informative. In addition, making the booking process smooth and hassle-free.
The hotel’s restaurant, though small, boasted a cozy and refined ambiance. I decided to try their fried rice, and it exceeded my expectations. Additionally, offering a comforting meal after a long flight. Moreover, the availability of an Accor membership discount made dining here not only enjoyable but also a great value for money. Note that there is also the Mida Hotel Don Mueang Airport in the area as well as the Casa Residence Hotel as well.
Location
While the hotel was not located very close to the major tourist spots. Its proximity to the concert venue was my primary concern, making it an ideal choice for my trip. Despite this, the hotel’s attentive staff, comfortable rooms, and delectable cuisine made our stay truly memorable.
Looking ahead. I am eager once again to return to Thailand, and without a doubt. I will be booking my stay at the ibis Bangkok IMPACT once again. The commendable service, coupled with its advantageous location near the airport. Likewise, makes it my preferred choice for future layovers in Bangkok.
