The rooms are large and comfortable and as this is not a new hotel some of the furnishings may not all be brand new. There is 24 hour room services in the hotel. The main complaint is waiting on the elevators as it is a large hotel and the elevators can take up to 5 minutes to arrive in the early evenings.
Cost
Overall it is a good hotel with an excellent location. It is close to the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center and the US Embassy in Bangkok as well as the Emporium Department Store and Benjasiri Park. All of these in a short 15 minute ride from the hotel. The price range is very good in the 2,000฿ to 2,500฿ per night. They also offer a currency exchange, dry cleaning, BBQ facilities and airport transfer at an additional cost of 450฿. There is also a spa and a sauna and an outdoor pool. For the cost and the location the hotel makes for a good stay while in Bangkok. An excellent choice for a mid-range hotel.
