During a recent stay in Bangkok, I had the pleasure of staying at the Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai. We had booked two rooms and made an early check-in request. Likewise which the hotel graciously accommodated. However, you can also call and do an advance booking and request connecting rooms.
Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai
The hotel’s breakfast offerings were diverse and satisfying. All in all, the Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai is a commendable choice for those seeking accommodations in Bangkok. Its dining offerings and proximity to the BTS Phaya Thai Station are definite strengths.
I must say, this hotel left an indelible impression. It exudes a remarkable sense of newness and radiance. The check-in and check-out processes were both seamless. Likewise they even took the time to ensure I had checked my safe, and had my phone and passport with me. The room itself was impeccably clean and thoughtfully arranged.
Likewise I particularly appreciated their user-friendly app, which allowed for the hassle-free ordering of amenities like an ironing board or room service. The entire staff exhibited attentiveness, kindness, and a commitment to going above and beyond in their roles. As for breakfast, it was an extensive spread with an array of choices, ranging from European to pan-Asian fare. The menu featured salads, cheeses, a variety of eggs, different noodle dishes, dim sum, sushi, and much more.
There are, however, a couple of aspects I hope they consider improving. The absence of a bedside lamp for reading with the other lights switched off was somewhat inconvenient. This meant I couldn’t indulge in late-night reading while my companion slept. Additionally, the absence of a remote for the air conditioning system meant that any adjustments, even during the night, required getting up to access the wall switch.
In summary, I would unquestionably rate this hotel with five stars, and we are already in the process of planning our next visit in the near future!
